Storytelling is Imperative: A TED-style Talk about Meaningful Engagement
On October 11, AFP Charlotte returns with a lunchtime program focused on the importance of quality storytelling.

In an age of elevator speeches and bulleted talking points, nonprofits are challenged to leverage one of their greatest strategic benefits the stories of the people and communities served by their missions. And yet with greater competition than ever before, telling a great story has never been more important.  In fact, great storytelling is an imperative.

Blair Primis, OrthoCarolina's VP of Marketing and Public Relations and Co-Director of the OrthoCarolina Foundation, will host this innovative AFP Charlotte program with guest speakers on the topic of storytelling.  Joining Blair will be Michael Graff, Executive Editor of Charlotte Magazine, Sheila Mullen, Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer of Blue Skies Charlotte and Chuck Bludsworth with Civilized Films.
