Ten Things Every Early Career Development Professional Should Know
The first 90 days on the job as a new development professional are some of the most chaotic of one's career. Even after the first year, most early career development professionals will say that they are learning something new every single day.  In this lighthearted but substantive session, early career development professionals, their managers, and those considering a career change to the nonprofit sector will get the inside scoop on topics not typically included in the organizational handbook. Josh Jacobson (Next Stage Consulting) and Arden McLaughlin (Charlotte Mecklenburg Library) will cover a wide variety topics, from personal brand and online habits to donor prospecting and knowledge-building, in a session that aims to be straight-shooting and engaging.
