2014 Summer Institute

When: 6/16/2014 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Where:
Charleston, South Carolina
Summer Institute is a one-day interactive opportunity for fundraisers to learn best practices and strategies while networking with other philanthropic professionals.   It is a wonderful occasion to network, collaborate, and share ideas with others in your field.  The conference is open to any individual in the fundraising profession, whether you have been in your field for a week or 30+ years.  This year we welcome Andrew Watt, President, AFP International, as our keynote speaker.
Summer Institute will  be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 in Charleston, SC.  The day usually begins around 8:30am with a keynote speaker followed by breakout sessions.  During lunch, we will honor the Outstanding Fundraiser of the Year.  After lunch, you will have a chance to participate in two more breakout sessions.  The day concludes around 4:30pm.  Topics include, but are not limited to: planned giving, annual giving, board interaction, major gifts, and donor retention.    Scholarship opportunities will be available.

I have attached the "Call for Presentations" which I hope you will take advantage.  It is a great opportunity to share your knowledge with other philanthropists South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina.   If your presentation is chosen, your registration fee will be waived.  Presentations on all topics will be considered.  The deadline to submit presentations is Friday, March 14.
