The Power of Partnership: Lessons from Leadership Gift School
   
Fundamental to the success of a major gifts program is a strong partnership between the Executive Director and Development Director with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
 
Come hear from three ED/DOD fundraising teams about how strong partnerships were forged; what is changing about how EDs think about development; and the strategies these teams are using to increase the dollars raised from individual donors and stories of their early success.

  • Three key strategies for more fully engaging your board members in fundraising
  • How to map out the critical steps in donor cultivation
  • Understand how the concept of Mastery applies to fundraising

Mentoring Program Graduation

On June 13 at AFP Charlotte's Morning Forum, the Mentoring Committee was proud to graduate 19 mentee participants for 2012-2013. A free member benefit for AFP Charlotte Chapter members, the Mentoring Program pairs individuals new to fundraising with seasoned professionals who commit to work one-on-one for eight months.  Mentees who completed the 2012-2013 program are:

Participating Mentors receive 10 points towards the professional service category of CFRE certification or recertification.
