The 12th Annual NC Philanthropy Conference and Pre-Conference Sessions will take place in Uptown Charlotte on August 16 - 18, 2016.

The conference attracts fundraising professionals, executive directors, and other staff from small grass-roots non-profits to large universities & foundations who serve the people of North Carolina. The sessions are CFRE approved and bring industry leaders (consultants, practitioners, and philanthropists) selected to present dynamic, interactive breakout sessions.  The NC Philanthropy Conference is well respected, evaluated highly, and continues to grow attracting close to 500 nonprofit professionals each year.

The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course was developed with a foundation from the Essentials of Fundraising Program and the First Course in Fundraising and is composed of seven modules that have been designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges non-profit organizations face every day.
This 16 hour course is meant to be taught in an active learning style and includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable. The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course offers a complete overview of the development function, featuring the most current information and techniques and will provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components for individuals with zero to four years of fundraising experience.

AFP's CFRE Review Course offers development professionals an opportunity to review the main components of a complete fundraising program.  The purpose of this two-day, 16 hour intensive program is to provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components based on fundraising experience at the five-year level.

The course was developed for intermediate-level fundraising professionals who want a quick and comprehensive overview of fundraising principles.  Its content is organized around the CFRE exam domains: Current and Prospective Donor Research, Securing the Gift, Relationship Building, Volunteer Involvement, Management, and Accountability.  Participants engage in fundraising problem-solving with top-notch professionals and network with fundraising peers.
