DESCRIPTION:The enduring reality of fundraising for nonprofit organizations is the need for the board to help with the solicitations. They might be reluctant, reticent, or resistant, but the bottom line is that they must DO IT. So how does a development officer persuade board members to assist? Using guerilla tactics! Her nonprofit experience stems from educational institutions, health care organizations and the arts, so she has vast expertise in dealing with the idiosyncrasies of unique boardroom situations.
