Healing the Wounds of Wealth: Why It Matters to Your Career Success
In this session, consultant Chris McLeod from Giving Matters Inc. addresses the ways that our ideas and beliefs about money impact our connections with donors and the trajectory of our careers as fundraisers. These "wounds of wealth" are the ways that money and our beliefs about money impact the way we see the world and the choices we make about our work.  This thought-provoking, interactive session is geared toward senior development professionals.

Leveraging #GivingTuesdayCLT for Your Nonprofit
On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give. Through #GivingTuesdayCLT, SHARE Charlotte and many local nonprofits are partnering together again this year to make a positive impact in OUR city.  In this session, SHARE Charlotte's Kelly Brooks will discuss her organization's efforts to make this year's #GivingTuesday the biggest one yet.

Square Peg: Where Does Grant Development Fit Organizationally?
Staff members charged with grant research and facilitation can often feel like they bridge a great divide between the development and programming departments.  Whether convening both sides to discuss new sources of funding, tracking down data for grant reports or looking into the crystal ball to set next year's budget, the role is critical to sustaining operations.  In this session geared toward development directors and grant professionals alike, a panel representing differently structured nonprofits will weigh in on the topic facilitated by Grant Writer Stephanie Boschee from Charlotte Mecklenburg Housing Partnership.
