AI in Fundraising: Evaluating Suitability and Ethics
Attendees will learn how to evaluate whether AI is suitable for their organization, including a practical readiness check, and gain insight into the ethical considerations of AI adoption. This session ensures participants leave with a balanced view of AI's benefits and challenges. Real-world case studies will illustrate successful AI implementations and common pitfalls. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their specific concerns.
Bio:
Shereese Floyd is the founder and CEO of AI Consultants for Nonprofits (AICN), an agency dedicated to making AI accessible to nonprofit organizations through training, workshops, consulting, and accredited AI certification. She is also the founder of Black Women AI Art, celebrating Black women through AI-powered visual storytelling. Shereese advocates for nonprofits to own their AI literacy by certifying internal team members as resident experts. Through AICN, she licenses her accredited curriculums to organizations supporting workforce development and upskilling. Her contributions have been featured in Essence, Chief Learning Officer, and Entrepreneur Magazine. She has been honored as one of 100 Women to KNOW in America and one of the 50 Most Dynamic Women in Charlotte. Shereese received the Cicero Speechwriting Award for her TEDxOcala talk, "The Secret to Healing the World." She serves on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Charlotte Chapter, and organizes TEDxMintStreet in Charlotte, NC. Learn more about AICN at aicn.us.
