Book Club Affinity Group

When: 10/21/2020 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Virtual Meeting - Meeting link is provided after registering.

Did you participate in the Diversity Dialogue Series and you don't want the conversation to end there? Do you want to dedicate more time to reading books that enrich your professional life? Are you an avid reader but want to discuss what you've learned with your peers?

Participants from the AFP Charlotte Diversity Dialogue Series collectively suggested the creation of an AFP Book Club Affinity Group. Book selection will be guided by participants and will either focus on racial equity and social justice or will focus on professional development for fundraisers and nonprofits. Discussion at affinity group meetings will then have strategic conversations about the readings and practical implications. Using IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access) as the foundation of the conversations, participants will continue the conversation around racial equity and social justice.
