SUMMARY:June Chapter Lunch Program - "Fundraising Assessment" with Kristen Beck, Executive Director of Social Venture Partners Charlotte
DESCRIPTION:Kristin Winkle Beck, Executive Director of Social Venture Partners Charlotte \n\nWhen is the last time you stepped back and assessed the effectiveness of your organization's fundraising capabilities? Join us for a discussion on how to assess your fundraising in four key areas: people/process, policies, systems, and strategy. This approach can work for organizations of all sizes and structures and people in various levels of responsibility from volunteer board members to senior development professionals leading others through implementation. This is for you if your role is looking at an entire organization or just one core part of a nonprofit's development efforts.\n\nKristin Winkle Beck joined Social Venture Partners Charlotte (SVP) as the Executive Director in October 2019 as an enthusiastic coach, optimistic problem solver, and servant leader. With over two decades of corporate experience leading business units and strategic vendorrelationships, she leverages her expertise to maximize community impact, collaborate with strategic partners and optimize organizational effectiveness. Kristin and the Partners at SVP have introduced three new revenue sources and one new program to increase their impact of investing in and strengthening nonprofits in the greater Charlotte region's nonprofit community through engaged philanthropists.Prior to joining SVP, Kristin intentionally stepped out of corporate America when she left her position as Senior Vice President at Bank of America Merchant Services to take a sabbatical in 2018 to recharge and refocus her career. During her sabbatical,Kristin completed twocoaching certifications and founded her own coaching and consulting firm, Pivot PointProfessionals, LLC.
