IABC/Charlotte's 13th Annual Profitable Communications for Nonprofits Workshop

Communications Meets Fundraising: How to integrate and collaborate.

This workshop is designed to bring you the most relevant, timely and practical communications strategies that you can apply to your organization right away.

Whether you're a fundraiser, or you work with fundraisers, you're sure to come away with some useful information.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 13, when we'll gather again at Piedmont Natural Gas (4720 Piedmont Row) near SouthPark.  The day will be organized into three 45-minute educational sessions, followed by a lunch, featuring Elaine Lyerly, who will serve as our keynote speaker. Elaine is president of the Lyerly Agency and is one of Charlotte's true veterans of the communications and public relations field.

Her talk will entail: Women in Philanthropy A Powerhouse of Potential.

Women are beginning to change the face of philanthropy in America today. Whether it's consumer buying power or decisions about philanthropy, many more women control the purse strings. Find out how tapping into this storehouse of potential can reap huge benefits for your nonprofit.

Elaine will also lead the first breakout session.

She'll be followed by: Crystal Dempsey, Executive Director of CAST (Carolina Actors Studio Theatre) and former Charlotte Observer reporter and a surprise mystery guest!

Cost for the workshop is FREE for employees of 501(c)(3) organizations and $65 for everyone else. Lunch is optional at $15 per person.

Check-in and networking begin at 8:00 a.m.
The opening session begins at 8:30 a.m.
