It is essential for small shops to create a thoughtful transition strategy, taking into account the need to budget, leverage organizational strengths, determine the impact to staff and stakeholders, and prepare for the change. In this session, we will share small shop succession stories, offer tangible lessons learned, and highlight how the process creates access and equity.\n\nBy the end of this session, participants will understand critical elements for small shop succession, including:\n\nDeveloping a realistic and robust timeline.\n\n	Correlation to organization mission, vision, values, and strategic plans.\n\n	Opportunities to develop internal staff with an emphasis on creating access for underrepresented populations.\n\n	Creating a budget that incorporates transition and staff development.\n\n	Executing a transparent and engaging communications plan, both internally and externally.\n\nPresenter: Amy Wolfe, MPPA, CFRE\n\nAmy Wolfe, MPPA, CFREis a partner in Mujeres Poderosas, a collaboration of hard-working, determined, and passionate women sharing their collective wisdom for the betterment of organizations.
