DESCRIPTION:Group and individual exercises, as well as discussion on race, gender, age and sexual orientation diversity led by Joanne Jenkins.\n\nMs. Jenkins currently serves as the Family Health Education Coordinator for Substance Abuse Prevention Services of Charlotte. She is a well-respected community facilitator and consultant, past part-time instructor at CPCC and current presenter for E4 Collective for many state agencies. \n\nJoanne received her B.A. in Vocational Counseling and Rehabilitation from Pennsylvania State University and her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.\n\n	Her professional associations and affiliations include: the North Carolina Association of Black Substance Abuse Workers; OutCharlotte Board of Trustees; Diocese of North Carolina Anti-Racism Commission; Latino Community Resource Center Board; and Mecklenburg Ministries.\n\n
