The end of the fiscal year for many nonprofits is just around the corner on June 30 and with it comes the great "musical chairs" of development professionals chasing the greener grass of other organizations. This session will focus on how to curtail the cycle of turnover by finding and keeping the people you want and need on your team.
Ken Carrick from
Coleman Lew + Associates will share insights on best practices around acquisition, onboarding, and retaining talented staff. This session is topical for people at all levels-including Executive Directors and Board Members-whether you are looking for a new role or have an open position to fill.

Relationship Fundraising 3.0: Lessons from Social Psychology - Senior Forum
9:00 am - 11:00 pm | CPCC Harris Campus
We will explore the psychology of each stage of a relationship, from exploration through growth and commitment. Adrian Sargeant will then map out the fundamental human needs that can be met through philanthropy and how an understanding of these dimensions can add real value for supporters in their giving. For the first time, Adrian will present hard data on how exposure to relationship fundraising actually makes donors feel. He'll demonstrate how a relationship focused approach enhances the wellbeing it generates for supporters and how giving can double as a consequence.

The annual NPD Luncheon is more than a celebration of the diverse philanthropists, fundraisers, volunteers and organizations making an impact in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community; it's also an opportunity to expand you and your organization's network.
Serving as a National Philanthropy Day event or table sponsor demonstrates your organization's commitment to Charlotte-Mecklenburg's culture of philanthropy while giving you an opportunity to provide donors, board members and colleagues with a meaningful stewardship experience.
If you're interested in expanding your personal network to include Charlotte-Mecklenburg's top fundraisers, philanthropists and community leaders, then the NPD luncheon is an excellent opportunity to do so, as well.
Individual tickets and tables can be purchases here. Contact Brittany Jenkins to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
