National Philanthropy Day
We are so excited to celebrate this year's National Philanthropy Day honorees! Save the date to join your fellow AFP Charlotte members, community and business leaders on Thursday, November 18th to celebrate the Power of Community. AFP Charlotte and the NPD planning committee have the utmost concern for the safety and health of our guests. This year, we will host our honorees for a small, in-person awards ceremony that will be livestreamed to our virtual audience, and we will again utilize the Lunchpool platform to allow for networking and interaction among our guests. We hope you'll join us for a special virtual event celebrating the following outstanding philanthropists and fundraisers:
Outstanding Champion of Diversity | Justin L. Perry, MSW, LCSW, LCAS
Outstanding Emerging Philanthropist | Lauren Harkey
Outstanding Fundraising Executive | Donna Canzano Stucker

Committee Members Wanted!
Our chapter has a wonderful opportunity to support the next great fundraising professionals. The Higher Education Committee is seeking committee members to support our goal to establish AFP student chapters on local college campuses. We will be working directly with the students to tailor programming to fit their needs as well as connecting them to our professional community. If you are interested, please contact Autumn Keck at email@example.com.
