A Letter from AFP Charlotte President

[Image]As 2021 comes to a close, one thing resonating more loudly than ever is gratitude - thankfulness for gifts both large and small.

AFP Charlotte continues to offer the critical professional development and networking opportunities that are needed to support our members during these unprecedented times. We have also redoubled our efforts to expand our IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and access) platform with our members and nonprofits throughout Charlotte. I'm proud of the local excellence of our Chapter and to be part of the larger, global conversation as AFP members. AFP Charlotte is a volunteer-led and run organization, and I want to take just a moment to personally thank our board, committee members, and Chapter Administrator Alice Harry, who keep our chapter running.

I also want to thank you, our members, for staying connected, maintaining your engagement, and continuing to learn and share from our wonderful network of local professionals. We are excited for 2022 and seeing everyone in the New Year!

AFP Charlotte has built a reputation for getting the word out for the premier fundraising jobs across the Carolinas. Click here to read more and apply for a posted position.

In order to promote gender and racial pay equity, AFP is leading the way and will be requiring salary ranges for all new positions posted on the AFP Charlotte Job Board effective May 10, 2021. We understand this might be a significant change for some organizations, but AFP Charlotte strongly believes this is an important shift in increasing equity, inclusion and fairness in the fundraising profession.
