Letter from the President
Happy New Year !
I am honored to be your AFP Charlotte Chapter President for 2017 and it is a privilege to serve you in this role. AFP has been an integral part of my life since I joined in 2006. I had just started my first full-time fundraising job and my wise supervisor instructed me to join AFP and I am so glad she did!
Ten plus years later, I have loved being a part of this chapter. AFP has given me so much-- outstanding professional development and education, a network of peers that are an invaluable resource, and many great friends.
The chapter exists to serve our members. Please join us for our monthly education programs, socials, and affinity groups. Participate in the mentoring program and attend the NC AFP Philanthropy Conference. Get involved by joining a committee and help shape our chapter. Read our newsletter, like us on Facebook, join our members' only forum and check out our website. You will be glad you did!
I look forward to seeing you at an AFP event very soon!
With gratitude,

Stephanie Stenglein, CFRE
