Session Description: Building your Strategy for Data Clean Up & Maintenance - We all know that we need clean data to do good fundraising and build relationships with our supporters, volunteers and prospects, but if your CRM data is messy (or you just don't trust the results!), how do you go about cleaning it up? This session will walk through known data challenges (such as duplicate records, address standardization, email list cultivation, managing communication preferences and cluttered code tables) to provide system agnostic suggestions for how to build a strategy so you can better use your data to fund your mission.

Christine Robertson has a strong non-profit CRM background with software experience at varying levels in the Raiser's Edge,
Allegiance, eTapestry, Little Green Light, Virtuous, Altru, BB CRM and Bloomerang. With over eight years of experience as a Raiser's Edge consultant and work as a donor database administrator prior to that, Christine has worked with a wide range of non-profits across the verticals as well as around the world . She is also a seasoned speaker, having shared her expertise on monthly giving, data management, and other topics at various conferences, including bbcon 2017, bbcon 2018, and bbcon UK 2019. When she steps away from her computer, Christine enjoys exploring local parks, baking, and watching British murder mysteries with a good cup of tea.
