Educational Programs
AFP Charlotte offers monthly educational opportunities which are a great time to network with fellow fundraisers and hear the latest from leaders in the fundraising community. Educational programs are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month for 90 minutes and includes lunch. Topics range from core development competencies to the latest fundraising trends and techniques. We encourage audience participation and discussion to keep the sessions as interesting and lively as possible!
Registration is required for educational programs. A list of all 2024 educational programs is provided, but to view more detail and register please visit the event schedule. Please note that registration will close a few days before each event. AFP Members will receive a discounted rate to attend. We welcome and encourage non-members to join at the guest rate, which is perfect when bringing a board member or fellow teammate.
We do offer a limited number of walk-in seats. Check or credit card will be the only method of payment for walk-in seats. Cancellations must be received one week in advance to process a refund. Credits for future meetings are encouraged.
AFP Charlotte is proud to endorse CFRE accreditation and strive to align our programming with at least one of the CFRE domains. Members can receive CFRE Continuing Education Credits for our educational programs. It is your responsibility to keep track of CFRE hours. All our programs are approved and can be selected in the drop-down menu on the CFRE website.
The Programming Committee is dedicated to offering speakers and topics that will truly bring value to the fundraising community. If you would like to submit a speaker or topic, please fill out the RFP Form. These forms will be reviewed on a rolling bases and will be presented to the Programming Committee for review.
